How to Make Keto Almond Flour Cheddar Biscuits

First, preheat your oven to 450F and grease your muffin tin.

In a medium bowl add all your dry ingredients for the low carb biscuit recipe.

And mix it all together! I used Bob’s Red Mill Super Fine Almond Flour. I like the consistency and texture of this brand, and of course, I love that is a natural almond flour ground from whole almonds, skins and all. It’s perfect for paleo, gluten-free, grain-free baking and cooking. It’s a staple ingredient in my Keto Pantry

Next, add your wet ingredients.

Mix it all up and portion out into nine sections of your muffin tin. I used a 1/4 cup, and it was the perfect amount.

I recommend buying these ingredients Organic and grass-fed if possible. Dairy products and eggs are on the list of foods you should considering buying organic/grass-fed to avoid consuming growth hormones and other additives. Check out my full guide to shopping organic so you don’t waste money on things you don’t need to prioritize buying organic and save your budget for the produce you should consider buying organic

Finally, bake the biscuits for about 10 minutes.

Tips to make the best keto biscuits

  • Do not overmix the dough- you want everything to be just combined. This will ensure the buttery and flaky texture.

  • Spice em’ up, add any of your favorite spices, like basil, paprika, or even old bay (if you’re also from Maryland you know what’s up) You can also try using a mixture of different types of cheese and sprinkling a little extra salt on the tops is yummy too.

  • Do not overbake the biscuits, as they continue to cook while they cool down.
